Project Overview

The system employs two types of sensors to obtain the desired output. A SENSITIVE PRESSURE SENSOR ARRAY and a SINGLE FORCE PLATE. A pressure distribution map covering 900 points and linear increase in biting forces from 0 to 5 seconds can be identified with these sensors.

This solution is to develop a Low-cost Digital Occlusal Analysis System with
1. Sensitive pressure sensor array with flexible sensors and
2. Single Force plate that allows the user to record the entire occlusal service and to
identify abnormal bite forces and oral disorders associated with it.
