Developing a diagnostic tool using real time single cell imaging and machine learning for detection of Acute Leukemias in India

Project Overview

An integrated, powerful experimental tool, combining the 3 different methodologies by means of imaging flow cytometry to detect acute lymphoblastic leukaemia subtypes ALL .

Benefits

It will offer an added advantage over existing methods, in providing visual understanding of each cell that is abnormal from the rest, in a format that will be readable and appropriate for faster diagnosis and prognosis. The software that we plan to develop will be less error prone, as it will be based on real images of the cells of interest.
