Project Overview

The project focuses on monitoring sleep hygiene and inducing sleep to enhance the quality of sleep in elderly patients suffering from insomnia. This is achieved through non-contact medical and scientifically integrated technology involving light, frequency, and behavioral therapy. The approach also includes a Sleep Diary and lifestyle modification to promote compliance, habits, and restructuring behavior and thoughts.

Benefits

The air cushion offers a multifaceted improvement in the lives of elderly individuals. Firstly, by reducing pain, discomfort, and preventing falls, it enhances their overall quality of life, promoting independent living and active participation in enjoyable activities. Secondly, it alleviates the physical burden on caregivers, minimizing the assistance required for sitting and standing, thereby freeing up time for caregivers to provide additional forms of care and support. Lastly, the air cushion facilitates enhanced social connections for the elderly, enabling them to venture out more easily and mitigating the risks of social isolation and loneliness.
