Project Overview

The kit is useful for the assessment of drinking water quality in remote areas and can be operated by a person with minimum training. The kit can perfom chemical and bacteriological tests to ensure safety of drinking water.

Benefits

The kit is simple in operation, Provides quantitative and qualitative results of bacteriological (fecal coliform) and physico-chemical parameters (pH, TDS, total hardness, chloride, residual chlorine, nitrate, fluoride, sulphate, iron and arsenic) as per BIS and WHO guidelines for drinking water, The kit can also be operated in a 1 KVA generator in the absence of 220 V electric supply, Economical and portable with approx 12 kg weight.
