Nicotine-Free Herbal Blend

Implementing Organization

Pavitra Joshi

Project Overview

A herbal blend designed to combat tobacco/nicotine habits, offering support for relaxation, mood enhancement, respiratory health, and mental stimulation/energy. The blend includes herbs such as rose petals, chamomile, rhododendron, mugwort, lemongrass, and mullein, combined with CBD (Cannabidiol) derived from Cannabis species, known for its non-psychoactive, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory properties, aiding against anxiety and addiction.

Benefits

The project actively collaborates with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and local women for the procurement and processing of raw materials. Simultaneously, it directly engages with 15 farmers, fostering a sustainable supply chain. This multifaceted initiative not only supports local communities but also aligns with a broader goal—to mitigate the risks of tobacco-related deaths and address associated social hazards, contributing to improved public health and well-being.
