With the COIN, the start-up Sensegiz Technologies Pvt Ltd. creates a large, ultralow power proprietary mesh network of sensor nodes with connectivity to the cloud via Wi-Fi. One can also create Geofence to trigger an alert when the patient enters or leaves the designated area. The total time spent can also be monitored in various zones. All the alerts can be sent via SMS and email to the concerned person if a person leaves the quarantine area. The technology was evaluated by COVID-19 comprising of Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council, Department of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology, AGNIi, Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, and AIM- NITI Aayog.
