Project Overview
The technology exploits the difference in density of the chromite ore and the associated gangue minerals for their separation using fine gravity separator. The technology was developed at the bench scale and subsequently validated through pilot-scale trials. It produces marketable chromite concentrate with final tailings assaying < 10 % Cr2O3 meeting IBM guidelines for disposal of tailings.
