Project Overview

The overall objective of the project is to develop a parallel three-dimensional Photon Monte Carlo (PMC) code for numerical simulational of hypersonic re-entry flows with non-equilibrium gas radiation models. Direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method will be used to simulate entry flows at non-eqilibrium rarefied conditions.
