About
The project aims to discriminate the multi-crop types in the hilly terrain using remote sensed hyperspectral data. Hyper spectral imaging helps to obtain the spectrum for each pixel in the image of a scene, identify materials and detects processes. To classify the multi-crops into definite groups of crops, AI and ML techniques will be used with suitable classifiers based on the area and crop will be tabulated.

The project being undertaken by ISRO in collaboration with academia is directly or indirectly beneficial to the society.
