About

This project aims on retrieval of crop biophysical parameters and soil moisture using polarimetric SAR satellite data. Thus, only the SAR data will be used for the implementation in this project. Moreover, the microwave algorithm will be proposed based on polarimetric decomposition techniques to provide SM and crop parameters at high spatial resolution through incorporation of accurate roughness parameters and other polarimetric and backscattering algorithm.

Outcome / Output

The project being undertaken by ISRO in collaboration with academia is directly or indirectly beneficial to the society.
