In this project, several band selection algorithms and indices are planned to be developed using in-situ observations, field spectroradiomenter and optical sensors mounted on Unmanned Airborne Vehicle (UAV) for water quality monitoring. End product developed through this project may lead to development of low-cost sensors for real time monitoring of water quality using dedicated bands.

Outcome / Output

The project being undertaken by ISRO in collaboration with academia is directly or indirectly beneficial to the society.
