Project Overview
The project aims to demostrate a high efficiency single photon detector at room temperature which will be capable to detect single photons in the telecommunication band (1.55 pm). The proposed device is constructed by heterogenous integration of a lithium niobate frequency convertor and silicon single photon avalanche detector.
