The uniqueness of the present technology is the segregation of waste streams, treatment and reuse of the treated streams. The waste streams are not discharged and the inorganic contaminants in the waste streams are utilized.
Outcome / Output
The technology is based on the concept of segregation of waste streams so that no secondary pollutants are generated Attainment of zero wastewater discharge resulting in minimization of environmental cost by around 35 - 40% and leading to enhanced sustainability of the leather industry
