Project Overview
A process for the preparation of high density slip-cast fused silica structures by adding Boron Oxide (B2O3) with the fused silica and using slip casting method for manufacturing fused silica bodies.Fused silica ceramic products (such as firing supports, ignition crucibles, dishes) are used in demanding application such as refractory environment and for making weatherproof structures such as radomes for missiles.
