About

An energy efficient domestic cooking burner has been designed for Piped Natural Gas by CSIR-IIP, Dehradun with the financial support of PCRA, New Delhi.

Outcome / Output

The designed burner has following salient features: 25% Improved Thermal Efficiency , Ensures safety against possible flame lift and flash back , Avoids loss of fuel to atmosphere; unnecessary incremental GHG emissions , The burner is designed in capacities to cover the entire range of cooking burners prevailing in India
