This improved furnace enhances the working environment by reducing pollution and ambient temperature, utilizing commercial ceramic fiber insulation and a chimney-damper arrangement. Operating on traditional husk fuel, it reaches 1000°C within 10 minutes and shows a 74% reduction in fuel consumption during an 8-hour operation compared to traditional furnaces. Developed in response to artisans' challenges in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, this technology addresses smoky environments, high temperatures, and low furnace efficiency, contributing to more sustainable and efficient glass bangle production.
