The company has developed a novel screening that captures multi spectral images of the wound region and uses machine learning algorithms on the obtained spectral images to detect and also to classify the infecting pathogens (bacteria and fungus) non-invasively in under 2 minutes as compared to traditional visual inspection followed by culture method which takes up to 3-5 days for a definitive result and is error prone.
