This project addresses the issue of drying agricultural produce in a fast and energy efficient way while keeping the cost as low as possible. The main focus of this project is achieving continuous drying of the agricultural products. (This was found to be shortcoming of most of the existing solar dryer designs). Continuous drying is achieved by using PCM (Phase change Material). Successful studies have been conducted on drying tomatoes, raw mango and some vegetables like Karela, Bhindi etc.
