The objectives of this workshop are to deliberate upon the emerging causes and hazards of air pollution; to evaluate the current scenario of the effects of air pollution on public health in general, and the health of women and children in particular; to plan and strategize various traditional and scientific approaches to mitigate air pollution and its harmful effects on health; and to promote International Cooperation on programmes for mitigating the hazards of air pollution on public health.
