The roadmap promotes multidisciplinary learning, quality standards, health systems linkages, and sustainable career pathways to build a future-ready public health workforce.

Eligibility

"For students with health-related degrees:
Candidates holding
bachelor’s degrees recognised by the
following professional and regulatory councils
in India may be considered eligible without
requiring any experience:
• National Medical Commission (NMC)
• Indian Nursing Council (INC)
• Dental Council of India (DCI)
• Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)
• National Commission for Allied and
Healthcare Professions (NCAHP)
• Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM)
• National Commission for Homoeopathy
(NCH)
• All-India Yoga & Nature Cure Council
(AIYNCC)
• Veterinary Council of India (VCI)
• Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
For students with non-health-related degrees:
candidates with the following
non-health bachelor’s degrees should also
be considered eligible for admission into MPH
programs:
• Social Sciences
• Humanities
• Management Sciences
• Law
• Natural Sciences
• Life Sciences
• Engineering Sciences"
