The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) under the Emeritus Scientist(ES) scheme provides financial assistance to superannuated outstanding scientists to pursue research in their respective fields of specializations especially in those which are of relevance to the programmes and activities of of CSIR.
Eligibility Criteria
A scientist who is an acknowledged expert in the field of his specialisation and has been actively engaged in scientific research during the preceding five years of superannuation will be eligible for grants under this scheme
