Project Overview
The project aims to map existing livelihood systems in Meskaur and Sirdala block, Nawada, and increase crop and livestock productivity through need-based agricultural technology innovations. It also aims to enhance SC farmers' income by developing producer organizations and market linkages. The project will establish a one-stop technological solution hub in each block. The study will be operationalized in Nawada district of Bihar, with two blocks selected for the study due to their large SC population. Data collection will be conducted through survey methods, focus group discussions, and key inform interviews. Capacity building will be done through training, awareness camps, and group meetings. The project will also involve continuous consultation with farming communities, identifying local leaders, and developing content in vernacular languages for information kiosks and STI hubs. The project will have a timeline with milestones for each milestone.
