Mosquito larvicides have a huge demand the world over. The present product can either substitute some of the currently used products or be used simultaneously along with them. Most of the currently used mosquito larvicides are based on synthetics whereas the present composition is based on botanicals. This can, therefore, form a green option for mosquito management. So far only conventional formulations have been used extensively to combat the pest menace. In this study, a slow/ controlled release formulation has been reported.
