It involves growing leguminous crops such as Sunhemp for 45 days and incorporating into soil to improve soil fertility. Three weeks later Nitrogen through FYM was applied at the time of land preparation. Nursery was raised with terminal cuttings and planted in enriched FYM with Trichoderma kg of FYM. Forty day old rooted cuttings were planted with a spacing in a raised bed with drip irrigation. Crop was harvested 180 days after planting and a dry tuberous root yield. There was drastic reduction in wilt as well as nematode infestation.
