H-226 is the most popular industrial variety of Cassava in Tamil Nadu.It is a high yielding hybrid variety with medium tall plants(1.5-2 m). Tubers contain 28 - 30 percent starch and avarage yield is 30-35 T/Ha. Maturity period is 10 months.
