Sree Apoorva is a high yielding (37.60 t ha-1) triploid variety with non/top branching plant habit and high starch content(33.30%) and has been recommended for cultivation in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The tubers are big sized, long cylindrical with brown skin and white flesh.
