Project Overview

Visbreaking of Petroleum residues is done by mild thermal cracking for production of fuel oil with reduction of viscosity, improved pour point stability and for up-gradation of residual fractions

Benefits

Soaker visbreaking requires smaller furnace and less waste heat recovery equipment leading to a capital saving of 10-15 percent
, Fuel consumption in case of soaker visbreaking is approx 15 percent ower than that for coil visbreaking
, Increased cycle length
, To upgrade soaker visbreaking technology by providing internals in soaker drum
