Project Overview

A process of removal of chemical surfactants from wastewater to enhance compatibility with membrane separation processes. It consists of immobilization of bacterial lipases in functionalised nano porous activated carbon. An immobilized matrix for the hydrolysis of chemical surfactants present in the biological treated wastewater.
