Project Overview
The principal lies on the solubilization of xylan from agricultural
byproducts in alkali medium followed by their recovery by alcohol precipitation. The xylan is the precursor of xylooligosaccharides. It is further hydrolyzed enzymatically in to xylooligosaccharides with low degree of polymerization viz. 2 - 3
