About

The zirconium boride and titanium boride powders can be used as ultra high temperature wear and oxidation resistant component, therrmocouple sleeves, nuclear components (boron capture), sputtering targets, evaporation boats, electride for Al-extraction (Hall- heraoult), hypersonic aero-engine components, rocket nozzles, dome for re-entry vehicle, etc.

Outcome / Output

Production of zirconium boride and titanium boride powder in single step process is difficult, The process requires low cost raw materials and therefore economical and easy to sacle up, The average particle size is 10um, The purity of the material is more than 95%.
