Avobenzone is an oil-soluble ingredient used in sunscreen products to absorb the full spectrum of UVA rays. Strong absorption of Ultraviolet A (320-400 nm, associated with long term skin damage) and Ultraviolet B (290-320 nm, causes sunburns).
