CSIR-NEIST has designed a low cost storage structure to minimize storage loss of pulses/grains due to insect pest damage. Storing of food grains including cereals and pulses.

Prohibit absorption of moisture by dried grains from outside environment , Suitable for storing all types of food grains , Provide 98% protection to the stored grains from insect pest , Easy loading and unloading of stored grains , Best suited to resource poor rural farmer level storage , No sophisticated equipments required , Low cost of production
