Project Overview
CSIR-IHBT developed 'Him Gold', a selection of wild Marigold which produces essential oil of high grade. Due to increasing industrial demand of its oil in perfumes, hair lotions, flavoring agents in foods and beverages, there is a growing interest in its cultivation among farmers.
