The technology involved enables separation and purification of valuable beach sand minerals to produce high purity Heavy Minerals. The separation process exploits the difference in physical and physico-chemical properties of constituent minerals and uses gravity, magnetic, high-tension and flotation techniques. The technology is utilised in manufacturing of ilmenite, garnet, zircon, sillimanite and monazite for various industrial use.
