Sulfolane can be used as solvent for extraction processes such as aromatics from catalytic reformate, hydro treated pyrolysis naphtha and kerosene. It can also be used for removal of acidic gases like H2S, CO2 and mercaptans from variety of sour gas streams including natural gas.
