Project Overview
Asparaginase hydrolyzes L-asparagine to L-aspartic acid and ammonia. Specifically in the leukemic cells, this results in the depletion of asparagine that is required for growth of some tumour cells, due to lack of asparagine synthetase activity in thesse cells
