In order to foster bilateral scientific cooperation between Indian and Austrian scientists, the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, New Delhi, and the Federal Ministry of Women, Science and Research, Republic of Austria, hereby invite faculty, scientists, and researchers from both countries to submit proposals for Joint Research Projects. In order to promote global research, the S&T Cooperation program is implemented within the framework of international agreements with specific partner nations.
Elegibility Criteria:
1. Indian faculty/scientist working at public/private universities/national laboratories, and other legal entities (e.g. higher education and national research institutions) planning to carry out a non-profit-oriented research project within the frame of this call are eligible for application.
2. Those who have 5 years before retiring may apply for the call, the early career researchers/faculty will get preference.
3. The Indian PI should be in regular employment and in active research.
4. The project may have only one Indian PI and maximum two Indian Co-PIs.
5. Indian PI needs to collaborate with Austrian faculty /scientist to submit a joint project.
