During the course of searching for microbial agents with mosquitocidal properties, a fungus, Tolypocladium was obtained, which also produces cyclosporin-A. A laboratory scale process for the production of cyclosporin-A and a HPCL method for the identification of cyclosporin-A, B and C isomers in fermentation samples were developed.
